More Digital Studios is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Studio Manager to join our cozy office in central Stockholm (WFH for the time being). As Studio Manager, you will be playing an important role on the Management team and carry out key supervisory and operational duties and responsibilities, including providing core support for our Stockholm team of creatives and producers. You will also be managing the day-to-day running of our studio, and work in close collaboration with our CEO (also based in Stockholm), our Studio Manager in Piteå, and the rest of the leadership team to continuously elevate and evolve our services and expertise.

Deep knowledge of the digital marketing space and experience from working at a fast-paced creative agency is essential. The ideal candidate has previously worked in a creative service-related role with ownership of supervising and supporting a diverse range of creatives. You must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Your Role

This role can be broken down into three key areas. Firstly, you'll be responsible for managing and supporting the creative teams from a resource perspective. Secondly, you will be directly involved in general business operations and general management. And, thirdly, you will have a leadership role in certain creative projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and overseeing the day to day running of our Stockholm studio and our multi-disciplinary studio team, building relationships and studio culture, and facilitating and motivating collaboration and communication
  • Implementing a wider domain strategy by coaching and mentoring team members in their disciplines, and mapping out development plans to nurture talent and galvanize innovation
  • Developing and optimizing processes and workflows as well as internal communication for effective and efficient resource planning
  • Reviewing and assessing all client deliveries, ensuring they meet client briefs, expectations, and the highest quality standards
  • Overseeing all studio projects and operations to ensure we have all the necessary resources for on-time delivery
  • Managing the recruitment process of new talent and contributing to selection decisions, alongside our CEO, Piteå Studio Manager, and HR-administrator
  • Organizing and ensuring quality and diversity of our pool of creative freelance talent, as well as identifying and building relationships with potential permanent talent
  • Working in close collaboration with our CEO on the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans, with a focus on maximizing the profit and productivity of the Stockholm studio
  • Planning and managing studio events and communicating with various vendors as well as the landlord, resolving facility issues, basically ensuring the smooth operation of the studio

Your Background

We believe that you have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience and a deep understanding of digital marketing, workflows and processes, as well as quoting and estimates
  • Experience with and expertise within organization and, ideally, communications
  • An aptitude for inspiring, challenging, supporting, and growing diverse creative teams
  • A strong sense of integrity as a leader and are confident, clear, and compassionate
  • A flexible mindset and are able to easily adapt to an ever-changing and fast-growing creative organization
  • A proactive and positive attitude and like to get things done
  • Advanced proficiency in both English and Swedish and excellent communication skills


Additional Information

Since we are an organization with set goals and a clear path forward, we believe that the Studio Manager part of this position is most suited to be part-time. The other responsibilities of the position are flexible. For example, if you have a background in digital strategy, project management, or creative producing, we imagine that part of your role would be to contribute to some of our creative projects. If you have a background in account management and a wealth of valuable connections, this role could also be combined with sales responsibilities.
